Get Your Boyfriend Back – Not Your Typical Advice Here!


If your breakup is still fresh and you are dying to get your boyfriend back the best piece of advice that I can give you is to get your emotions under control as soon as possible. So much damage can be done with the best of intentions while trying to get your boyfriend back no thanks to the emotions that are pushing you to make mistakes that very well may spell disaster and doom for your relationship and any chance that you might have of getting your boyfriend back.

You might think that you know the right things to do to get him back but in your current emotionally charged state you are bound to make some poor decisions. You might feel sure that you are doing the right thing but soon you will look back with regret if you pass on this piece of advice and decided to take matters into your own hands and try to get your boyfriend back.

So, how can you get your emotions under control? How can you find peace and comfort and know for sure that you can get him back?

Movies – The most important thing you can do right now is avoid taking any action. You need to keep yourself busy and watching movies are a great escape from reality for an hour or two at a time. Rent a bunch of DVDs or plop yourself in front of the tv and get lost in the dizzying array of movies.

The important thing is to allow some time to pass and remove yourself for a while from the stress and anxiety of the breakup. Allow yourself some time to heal and get back on your feet emotionally before making any decisions about exactly how you’re going to get your boyfriend back.

Shopping – Does shopping cheer you up? Do you just feel like a million bucks after buying yourself a new outfit or pair of shoes? Treat yourself and boost your own self esteem by doing a little shopping. Getting out of the house and being around people might be a nice way to realize that life does go on without your ex and that there really are some other hot guys out there in addition to your boyfriend.

You don’t have to shop for clothes. You can shop for whatever makes you happy, but keep in mind that you’re going to want to look stunning when you do make that move to get your boyfriend back and see him for the first time after the breakup. Just a hint for what is yet to come!

Cooking – While many experts might advise you to avoid overeating or the dangers of trying to fill the hole left from your broken heart I am here to tell you that there is a reason why they call some foods “comfort food”. At this stage of the game I want you to feel as good as is humanly possible given the circumstances and that means that if a roll of chocolate chip cookie dough eaten with a fork while watching a chick flick is going to make you happy then I say go for it!

In addition, spend some time thinking about the foods that you might have always wanted to try but never seemed to have the time for. Along with cooking a really great meal like a pork loin or roast come a great sense of accomplishment. In addition, learning a few cooking skills or new recipes might be a great way to further entice your boyfriend when it comes time to get him back. After all, the stomach is one of many ways to a man’s heart, right?

Although this is just a short list of a few things that you can do to get your mind off of your breakup and free yourself of the stress and pain of temporarily losing your boyfriend, they are a start and a necessary step to actually getting him back. Typically women who spend a little bit of time in thoughtful reflection and taking care of their soul stand a better chance of getting their ex back while women who frantically try to do everything in their power without thinking things through often wind up losing their man for good.
